IR spectroscopy

IR spectroscopy and FT-IR are offered as non-GLP service.

Exemplary analysis conditions:  Equipment: Perkin Elmer Spectrum Two;   Background: Air;   Sampling: ATR;   Resolution: ± 2 cm-1;   Nr. of scans: 16

Sample handling:   Approximately 0.05 g of the finely powdered test item was placed onto the ATR sampling unit and firmly pushed to the diamond crystal surface with the built in press of the equipment.

Based on the comparison of the FT-IR spectrum data to the Conservation and Art Materials Database (CAMEO), the peak-table, the substance identity/confirmation and purity interpretations are drawn.
